www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0d4dacae2aa75-snackpax The Troy Union Community is participating in the SnackPax Community outreach program. The goal is to donate one snack bag for each student in our school. Students will be decorating lunch bags at school with pictures and positive messages. We are asking families to help collect items for the bags. Please check out the list below if you would like to donate an item. All items should be turned in by January 23. Thank you!! m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/5080548AAA72BA57-lego The 2nd grade auction basket is going to be a LEGO theme basket. In order for this to be a successful auction item at Troy Union's Auction on Saturday, February 21, we need YOUR help through donations!! Below is a list of suggested items you could donate but we will accept anything to help fill the basket! We are also accepting cash or check (payable to Kelli Mattson) donations of ANY dollar amount. We are hoping to purchase larger LEGO sets with the donated money so please help in any way you can! EVERYTHING is MUCH appreciated!!! Please send your cash, check or any donated items to school with your child BY January 27. Please label anything "2nd Grade Auction Basket" Attn: Brayden Mattson (Andary). If you prefer to drop items off to my home, you can do so at any time. Please contact Kelli Mattson to arrange for a drop off time. Thank you for your donations to help make this a successful event for our school! Kelli Mattson and Julie Thornbro ISubtraction is a challenge of its own. When Mr. Andary make us subtract from 100...it's a whole new ball game. We learned a few new strategies for making this simple for us.
Earlier in the year, we learned that when we do not have enough ones to subtract from...we need to exchange our 10s for more 1s. That was easy! Now we have two zeros to deal with! Now it's getting complicated! But the Mackenzie Dollar can help! When I trade a dollar for 9 dimes and 10 pennies, I have enough ones and tens to subtract from! It also proves I still have $1.00 or 100 cents. Using this as a visual proof drawing helps. Thanks Mackenzie! Mackenzie for PRESIDENT! :) |
