This time of year is so full of happy memories and wonderful things to share with others. I am extremely grateful for the kindness each student has shown me this year and that from their families as well. Kona was so jealous of all the love that he had to come in to experience it for himself! That's right, we got a visit from Kona Claus himself! We ended our day with a Sing-Along like no other! While we missed Miss Anderson, Mr. Gerry and Mrs. Leonard did a very nice job keeping our spirits holly and jolly1 As usual, it was a thrill to see the stage filled with Troy Union Families...all singing along as well!
To each and every Troy Union family, I wish you all a wonderful break, with lots of time with family and friends! I will see you all once again in the new year, 2015!

This Friday's Edition of Teacher Appreciation, PTO parents walked around the school with a bowl of gift cards! They came around like Santa's little helpers delivering gifts for good teacher girls and boys on behalf of all parents! Thank you all so very much! I was surprised by their visit and even more surprised when I pulled out a Biggby Coffee gift certificate! How wonderful. Thank you Troy Union Families!
Little by little...paint began to appear on the wall in our main hallway at Troy Union. We thought it was magic because we never saw anyone working on it. One day, we finally saw our artist, Ms. Hilliker adding in more detail! Now we kNOW Ms. Hilliker is an incredible artist...but we could have never DREAMED this would turn out as wonderful as it did! We are proud to be a Leader in Me school, because every day we are reminded that we are all Leaders in our own lives. Well. Ms.. Hilliker, we definitely see how your leadership in the art room will inspire many more new creative leaders at Troy Union! Thank you for this beautiful gift of Art!
How absolutely in awe I am of Lucius’ artistic talents! We are so lucky to have someone in our class that took the time out to make his own Golden Toads! Not only did he make a few to throw on his desk for decoration, but he agreed to put them into the mix of Golden Toads we take home every Friday! He also made a few for some of his classmates to keep! What a special gift he’s given us! Thank you Lucius! This was very thoughtful of you!
