I wanted to take this time to say THANK YOU to all the parents that helped to make this party an amazing event for the kids! The room was decorated from floor to ceiling, the spread of breakfast foods was delicious, there were crafts galore, and the games were entertaining (even for the adults watching). Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who put in the time to plan, came in to run things, and sent in donations from home. Check out the photos (download any that you like) and enjoy the video recap of the party! Have a wonderful Holiday break! Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! And Happy New Year to all! Dear Tree-Toppin' Toads!

One thing I am thankful for this year is for such incredible students who consistently earn Golden Toads for being leaders in the classroom! Thank you to all my Tree-Toppin' Toads for being TOAD-ally awesome and taking such great care of our GTs over the weekends. I am looking forward to seeing what great feasts our toads get invited to during this long weekend!
Students made videos to this review, which will be available on Seesaw as soon as they are approved by me! :)
Here are the suggested answers, so that your child has the resources to study from their own video as well as these photos! What an awesome party! Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Stillings for organizing the games and crafts. Thank you to all the family members that came to help run games and add to the fun of Halloween! The kids had a great time and I loved seeing the creative costumes! Check out the photos I captured and download any you like. Check out the video below to enjoy it all over again! Thank you Mrs. Bender and Mrs. Stransky's class for joining us for a celebration of reading. Both 2nd and 1st graders had lots to be proud of. From Word Detectives to readers who can roll up their sleeves when books become challenging, all students showed a love for reading today and enjoyed sharing their books with an audience. Today, all GradeTWO students gathered to participate in a shared writing activity, where we learned how to carve a pumpkin! We did an incredible job working together to retell the steps, including: a lead, transition words, descriptive adjectives, and a special ending! One other thing we did was take photos of the whole thing! Check out how it all happened below! GradeTWO families want to know how they can help their Writers at home! How exciting is that!? Here are a few tools you can check out to support your child's writing goal. Personal Narrative Resources:Weekend Graphic Organizers
